letters to rowan. was created as a way to visually and audibly show our son who his parents were outside of parenthood. It started with us writing him heartfelt letters to put in his cot during his three month stay in the NICU. It was our way of telling him (and now his little sister as well) who we are creatively and what we’ve been through during our lifetime.

It evolved into storytelling through word, illustration and craftsmanship. It led to the writing of our own family folklore, fairytales and fables for our children and the family we grow from here on out. It is important to note that we write these stories entirely with our children and our lives in mind but we hope that they resonate with other people that read them.
